It’s going absolutely destroy any clerical level office workers. There are millions of people earning a decent living in those types of jobs. I am a former/semi retired Controller and AI could take at least 75% of the jobs I would typically manage. I am already hearing from my sources that accounting leaders are getting enormous pressure to implement AI and cut staff. The middle class was wiped out by moving manufacturing to foreign countries. Get ready for the rest of the middle class to be wiped out by AI. I think the music and movie/tv industry is going to wipe out most of those folks too. You don’t even need too many sets, sound stages, and actors when it can all be created on a computer. AI will have ten times the impact on workers than the implementation of computers did.
