I admire you guys who still put in time and effort to create something unique “out of your own head” using traditional tools and methods. At one point in time I started playing with photography, you know that old timing, composition and subject rule ? Like that. But, I got completely discouraged by completely unrealistic images being praised as an example of a great skill of the photographer. To someone who does not do photography it can appear to be a great skill, but it is quite easy to tell if the photo has been edited to the bone. These days with the AI and all the filters…. what’s the point ? Just ask the computer to make you an image of sunrise over the ocean with surfers in the foreground. You won’t have to be near the ocean, you won’t have to get up early, you won’t have to wait for the right moment, also you won’t have to deal with stupid things such as the dynamic range… Happy days !
