He says only 5% have "significant Native American ancestry" but he has never made it clear as to what "significant" means or what it doesn't mean.
I think many of these tests have a noise range and anything less than 2% or 3% might not be exact legit ancestry and many black Americans will get a "1%" or less due to the algorithms not being able to read everything exactly, especially since black Americans have diverse African ancestry ( from slavery, obviously) plus white ancestry.
This is in contrast to a Nigerian Yoruba who would JUST be a Nigerian Yoruba.
But anyway, "5%" is only like maybe around 2 million black folks, since the number of black Americans is like 45 million.
