Ai is a tool. Any tool can be used to supplant an artist work. We have seen That in photography and with the discussion on digital art. Mind you digital art is not only “painting” on digital canvass but also advanced collage art and sampling style, using 3d backgrounds or fractal abstract generation.
My art design prof always said to me :” computers are fast idi*ts” and by themselves they cannot do something of value… same discussion is applied to AI.
But an AI can do intermediary cells between keyframes? I think it could be useful (it reduces the cost for smaller production and allows for more experimental ideas to be greenlit)
The tool is not evil, the use is.
