Dont give up. The AI bubble will collapse at some point. It relies on human creativity to immitate, if the human creativity stops, the models degenerate. There is no real intelligence in there. Probably never will be. The huge prospects in intelligence gains over the next years is marketing propaganda to prevent thebubble from bursting as long as possible.
And even If such an AI driven oligarchic society should come to pass and completely alienates 99% of the populace, they will create their own society, in the worst case (unlikely) you would have a standard of living of the 19th century. We are not nearly at the point where the elites can produce AI robocops to oppress 99% of the populace long-term. So either they share their wealth and let humans participate, or they allow them to create their own parallel society, OR they have to come up with a genocidal plan to get rid of the 99% But there are higher powers, which will not allow that.
