An example that surprised me is from the popular show "The Sopranos". I didn't notice the first time, although the scene did stay in my memory because it was somehow unusual. Then I found out that they had indeed used the deepfake method because that actress had passed away before finishing the show. Note that they did this in the early 2000's. 20 years ago.
