He means AI is trained on our world, so it will be like us. It's like taking your neighbor down the street and giving him godlike power over you. And he will be human, just as good as humans can be, and just as bad. Technology is an amplifier of human nature. It is not good or bad. It is giving everyone great power. Think about the people around you, your family, your coworkers, your neighbors. How you look at AI is how you look at them. Do you think your coworkers are idiots or criminals and fear if they were given great power? Then you will fear AI. Or do you believe in the inherent goodness of humans? Then you will embrace AI.
Life does not get better. It just gets louder, brighter.
One hope though is that we get the ability to construct the minds of AI, delete bad behavior, reinforce good. If we have time and other humans don't get there first and get their philosophies implemented first.
