dude says that and completely bypasses the complete stranglehold that companies like Amazon have on the online marketplace and businesses like Walmart have on the physical marketplace. Monopolies are still going to exist in a post-AI world. The problem wasn't that talented people with creative drive didn't exist. The problem was that they weren't being discovered or marketed or supplied the resources to get a business off the ground. That problem is only going to get worse when the market is flooded with fakes.
Amazon online independent book publishing is a perfect example of this. It's a mess for authors and for readers.
