That is *absolutely NOT* how science works. Companies and even research institutions do NOT share the findings of their multimillion dollar R&D projects online for exactly the reasons you're describing, because the private sector is very competitive and anyone who comes up an invention first can patent it and have the exclusive rights to it.
But you're describing plagerism, not transformative AI.
