I am a CS student myself (just over one and a half year in), and I try not to use AI as much as possible. I did in the earlier semesters, but it was too evident I didn't know what actually happened, whenever I got it to solve things for me.
They don't teach us everything though. For example, the main language we've been learning at my school is C#, but we HAVE learned some Python for making TCP servers/client. Despite this, I had never heard about the Python REPL either
