I'm fine with it existing, but I get why people don't like it being called art. With real art there is intention placed behind each line and stroke. It is deliberately crafted to tell a story or evoke emotions.
AI work is just output. It's cool from a technical perspective and it may (eventually) be nice to look at, but you can never have the same kinds of discussions about it that you do about art because there is no intention behind it
