It boggles the mind how the development of technology that has the potential to literally replace all human labor leads people to conclude that we're all going to fall into poverty and slavery. It's absurd.
You can horde wealth but you can't horde knowledge. If we create technology capable of providing near-labor-free abundance, what could possibly stop you or me from using the technology for ourselves?
"Oh no! We automated everything, now we're all going to be poor!" Makes no fucking sense whatsoever.
