The Godfather of AI warned that without any laws or regulations that it's very possible that artificial intelligence will decide that it does not need humans anymore. The major players who have advanced Artificial Intelligence to where it is now even asked for a pause in the development not too long ago. Despite knowing all of this, Donald Trump may have just ignited that timeline by banning any kind of regulations or laws that could be made in order to protect ourselves and future generations.
All these awesome medical breakthroughs, scientific advancements, and super cool inventions won't mean shit then.
