The rise of AI art really showed me how much I value the heart behind art. As a kid I wouldn't understand why one would like modern art that was "ugly" to me, what's the point if it doesn't look pretty? But now even if AI was as beautiful as my favourite artists, the fact it was made by AI would make it a different experience for me.
I'm also an artist though that really enjoys the process of making the art, even if I don't love my finished product.
