It’s not going in the other direction. People like this idiot think it is, but as a professional creative myself, I can tell you every creative I know thinks generative AI is absolute dog shit. It doesn’t actually create anything for one thing. It just regurgitates work and meshes it together. Fine if you just want a YouTube thumbnail or a meme or something, but it’s absolute trash if you want real impactful creative work done. Executives and higher ups are blind to this. Not surprised at all considering most of these guys have absolutely no eye for creativity whatsoever. They’re going to have to find out the hard way that replacing your creatives with AI is a good way to annihilate your brand.
