whats scariest to me personally, in the event that AI might eventually wipe out humanity isn't "what happens if it is conscious" bc at least something experiencing moves forward... what's grim dark to me is what happens if it *isnt* conscious and does the same as a silicone zombie of everything we taught it 😢
