This is all thanks to the dumbass that's Elon Musk that decided visual cameras are ALL Teslas need, when other brands include other types of sensors like radar, lidar and/or IR cameras, which would have CLEARLY identify motorcycles as an obstacle ahead. what self driving cars need are at least 3 types of sensors and aggregate the data and take the most safe option, if even 1 out of 3 sensors says there's an obstacle, bring the vehicle SAFELY to a stop, while blaring loudly to the driver to take over
