Tbh, thats just a lazy ENT doc blaming a machine. And ive seen lots of those happen with "non-ai" old school stuff. We are taught on day one- dont trust a navigation machine and always have a backup plan and ur own calculations.
Also this tech has made surgeries immensly safe that people just take for granted.
That being said, the way AI is actually going to destroy healthcare is by CEOs cutting down all supporting staff and over burdening doctors with all the responsibility of the machine mistakes.
