I'm not saying I know more than this expert . . . but I am skeptical. I've interacted with a lot of AI at this point. The AI can't do way more things than it can do. It does the things it can do frequently worse than a human because it is derivative when called on to do anything complicated that is not sheer data analysis. It is cost-prohibitive for it to do many things, like cleaning, childcare, anything that requires movement and manual dexterity. It might end up smarter than us, but if you destabilize the economy, the corporate welfare dries up as well. Even the AI needs money to purchase power to sustain itself. We have been told repeatedly that the world would end. Instead of folding into a doom mindset, let's start proactively voting against anyone supported by big tech. Let's take back our power by pushing for regulations and true transparency. Let's elevate every candidate that is willing to stop corporate welfare.
