its obvious now that something as powerful as AI is slowly being taken away from the public's hands, its like the wild west with AI at the moment, anyone can download it and start to create or try out anything they can imagine, obviously there will be good players in this and bad players but the reality is that world governments have seen the power and are now starting, through regulation, taking that power away from us. So very soon AI will yes be available to the public, but it will be some watered down, glorified search engine type of AI, it wont be the world changing AI available to governments. Once a government see power in the peoples hands it becomes a priority to regulate it and take it away from them.
