My favorite AI is that one in BOINC for protein folding. Predictive type suggestion is also nice. A lot the useful things to use AI for were already implemented like a decade or two ago.
Generating images or such is mostly just irritating and worthless though. I think it can be ok for internal production or as a light/inaccurate journal, but isn’t really practical for that in terms of cost (I’ve used the text prompt text generator programs for like “what’s near me,” “what’s this thing,” or “what are ways I could do a thing,” but it always needs actual work and research for a true conclusion of value and Ai is very inaccurate). I think my sister uses it as a journaling tool, but that’s only practical because it’s subsidized so heavily. So many ads want people to send AI slop to other people, but that’s the worst way to use generative/amalgamative AI. Other tools are usually better even for personal use stuff though
