When it comes to use of Surveillance Systems and Face Recognition Technology by authorities, western media mainly NYT, WSJ be like " look China is doing this, China bad; Surveillance Systems and Face Recognition usage bad, no privacy, oh no" and then they don't talk about similar trends in America & European countries. I am not defending what China is doing with this tech, but there is a grand bias how these things are covered by different media houses and editorials.
