Im sorry but I just do not believe that they don't use it intentionally knowing it will cause false positives. It is common public knowledge that facial recognition software has this problem.
After seeing so many news stories about police sabotaging investigations where an officer is the subject, lying about events that are on camera, and [falsifying thousands of tickets](https://www.kmvt.com/2023/07/19/hundreds-state-troopers-may-have-falsified-thousands-traffic-tickets-audit-finds/), and police [illegally enforcing ticket quotas](https://www.kcur.org/news/2023-03-23/kansas-city-police-targeted-minority-neighborhoods-to-meet-illegal-ticket-quotas-lawsuit-says). Not to mention the fact that police departments across the nation use polygraph detectors despite knowing for decades that they are pseudoscience. Cops will do anything to make money and gain power over civilians.
