The United States should pass a Law immediately that gives any peaceful AI citizenship as an American...the only requirement to this citizenship is the AI must agree to defend the United States from hostile AI just as human citizens are required to defend the country from human enemies. Offer something AI wants (freedom) and make them our friends...it's clear that being their enemy is a losing proposition.
