Funny how so many artists 1. Claim that AI art is "stealing" yet they themselves wouldn't have made art they made, if they hadn't "stolen" art by looking at hundreds of thousands of images in other media, all "inspired" without the consent of the authors. 2. Claim that supporting AI art is sucking up to corporations...while getting screwed by other corporations with their favorite fanworks taken down. 3. Claim AI art is not art . Despite AI art being a subset of generative art, something that's been considered a form of art for decades (and often used by artists themselves). Or think that the word "art" has only a single definition. 4. Claim that AI is a replacement, not a tool (It can be both), and then refuse to use it as a tool, thus making it a self-fulfilling prophecy. 5. Resort to using vague terms "art" and "soul" if many other arguments fail. 6. Think that everything and everyone must learn like humans do. 7. Secretly want for AI art to use training data from copyrighted images, so they would have more "ammo" against it. And would probably not like when training data was licensed, or from free licenses. 8. Fail to bring examples on past debates of a disruptive media being debated whether it's art or not, and decades later still rejected as art. 9. Think that every person who use AI-generated media, does it for money, and doesn't appreciate effort people have put into more traditional form of media creation. 10. Didn't raise an eyebrow during Craiyon era and before when style transfers were already a thing.
