Having a democracy will save us. If it gets as bad as it LOOKS like it's going to get (in terms of job replacement by AI), the PEOPLE can demand and get subsidies. Unlike a depression, the overall wealth will be the same and so the money will be there for them. AI could be socialism's best friend.
