I find it so interesting that we constantly talk about America and China as being the AI hegemons (which they are)... as if there wasn't a third elephant in the room. It's a country I'm not sure we're quite allowed to speak of but they seem EXTREMELY well positioned to also benefit from the ascendance of AI and they also seem VERY interested in using AI to to extend its reaches of power. But again, I'm not sure I'm even comfortable writing into this comment the name of that country.
