Mentally disabled person here !!
I do get thrown into ai art arguments a lot, but I would not be able to live without art. I draw all day during my classes, at home, and use it to bond with people because I have trouble talking to people!! I have lots of trouble focusing and keeping emotions at bay, and art is such a good way to express myself, even if my brain can’t make art “normally”
There are so many physically disabled artists out there that are better then any ai generator that I’m seriously doubting if ai “artists” are that far in their elementary school. Overcoming these challenges will make people feel good and proud of themselves. Without something to look back on mentally and physically impacted people would likely lose meaning in their lives, meaning that they aren’t gonna find through typing a prompt in on a computer for 10 dollars a month.
