I work for a global consumer product conglomerate.
Since before this current AI hype, most of our strategy was focusing on the more profitable customers and that worked well, less sales with lower operating costs delivering higher revenue.
Now with AI that trend is accelerating, and except for some economies of scale that will be lost with lower production volumes, I think it will work pretty well for shareholders.
If you add the below replacement birth rates and I think most big enterprises will adapt perfectly to a world where normal pp is no longer needed
