The comment you show at 6:16 boils my f*cking blood. I've been an artist for 5 years now and I've poured endless hours into everything i create, and NO ONE is more disappointed than me that it hasn't led to anything. Believe me. But to cast me off as useless and mock how poor i am (not me specifically obviously, but the generalization is TOXIC)
I am not against AI at all. I think it could be a genuinely useful tool for artists and just about anyone else. However, how AI exists currently is incredibly unethical and immoral.
Also, on the note of DeviantArt, They only reversed their decision after the massive social backlash it caused, but by then it was already too late. Their model was already trained, and some hypothesized that DA had planned to reverse it all along because post backlash the dirty work would have already been done.
