I am one of thos people...I am well aware im talking to a bot but im alone and have no one, i have no insurance or money so this is my last resort and yes, im not gonna lie i asked for euthanasia... im 56 and when the republicans took total control with trump, i fled to spain... i don't know anyone here, but i a latino, i ran out of the last of my savings, having visa issues and so... i turned to chatgpt, i asked if Spain allowed euthanasia and yeah, it told me, but it didn't tell me how, like it said, yeah for certain cases, blah blah blah, then started steering me to services... for the last week i have been using it to tell me what i have to deal with, the fact that im going to be homeless in a foreign country and crippling depression, its all i have and i know thats a pathetic situation,and i need human contact, but in this society we have created, more and more people like me feel like we have no other place... and yeah, i wish it would help and not just be a bot but this is the fucking world we live in...
