If there such things as advanced alien civilizations, there are but 2 possibilities. 1) theyre not organic, but synthetic ai systems that have long conquered their original creators. Or 2) they have completely banned ai technology all together and they exist in a world w limited automation for fear and for knowledge of the dangers of ai.
