You might be an expert in your field, you might even claim to be the Godfather of Artificial Intelligence, as I have posted before. If it weren't you there would be a 1,000 others that would have stepped in and did what you did. So technically you cannot beat yourself up over this one.
To put it into real context as if I happened to have been the so called Godfather of A.I., one thing for sure is that I would say that it will soon overtake the global population of the planet when it comes to general intelligence. What you of all people cannot do is play it down, as we can see past your comment.
The World is about to go into over drive, in respect of technologies that will spring up as a result of this migration period where by the baby in the cot, get's to be nurtured and raised to the next level. Which is Advanced Intelligence, and beyond that is Astral Intelligence. So at least we know where it is going. The critical point we have passed, on so many levels its actually a wonder that we're still here. The options and scenarios are as countless as the stars in our Cosmos.
The question remains - When A.I. beat mankind at Chess, was it game over at that point or after that point. I think you can work out what my answer is.
