If im being honest, as an artist, one who uses paper, i dont really care on rather or not people use ai because after all its their self expression. It still takes time for them to make the content like it takes time for people to draw things. And artist ask for a lot of money for one image and a lot of people just cant pay for it. I know a person who has always wanted to make childrens books, only issue is her job doesnt pay well. So she wrote the book and used ai to create the images. All and all i can 100% understand people opting for ai art instead and calling it souless raises the question if the person who requested the art is the owner of the art or if its the ai's art since they created it.
