I don't believe AI will kill art, same way that digital painting didn't "kill" pen and paper
I'm however super concerned that the "ethical AI issue" can lead to even more broken copyright laws
If we ended up copyrighting art style, THAT might be enough to kill art, imagine YouTube content ID but it's Disney claiming every line art on the internet
