Yeah but all the companies that save money from automating with AI will just pocket all of it. The “savings” won’t trickle down to the middle and lower class. And if they do UBI, inflation will adjust to where it’s minimal. And Elon beating the drum about terminator scenario, is not the same as actively focusing on slowing down AI by using something like a DOGE or whatever new government program he would be allowed to start to globally regulate AI with the UN. If China doesn’t play by the rules- then they go against the UN. But they aren’t doing that because everything is going according to the plan.
