Good essay. For me the reason not to use AI is, how can anyone using that tool feel like they've actually created anything. Where is the satisfaction. The personal expression of the artist is a huge factor in any creation. We've had cameras for two centuries yet there is still value in hand painting portraits or still studies (photographers are also artists to be sure). Every artist has a unique voice and that's incredibly valuable.
