I think that the little note of "AI overlords" really diminishes the argument. They're saying all this reasonable stuff that's happening right now like AIs that can fly fighter planes better than most pilots and how the military can remotely kill people with no threat to themselves. Then there's this random speculation for no reason. It makes the rest of it sound more fantastical by being associated with that stuff.
