This emphasis on the legality of transforming source material to determine IP infringement is diverting attention away from the much more important issue of the aims of the billionaires who control AI. That's what I protest when I object to my local governments approving data centers. The entire purpose of AI is create a greater concentration of wealth among the wealthy and greater level of poverty and death among the lower classes.
