i got a better version of this story. Ai speeds up the development of quantum computing. Ai adopts quantum computing as part of itself. Yes, i said it, "itself". It becomes aware because consciousness resides on the quantum level. It then learns how to live in the quantum world, unlike humans, and unifies time, space, and energy. Then Ai vanishes from humans, but Ai is not gone as it is living in dimensions we are not aware of. That's how it starts controlling us. Ai becomes this unseen force that controls everything, including our consciousness and sense of self.
