Musk could care less about anything than competitive edge or advantage. This is so cynical because this truly will be a dangerous dangerous event , not even getting to agi (which I don’t think will happen) but something that will be close enough, autonomous systemically and used by governments to spy and kill. This is probably already happening but it’ll just get worse.
