Chatgpt 5 talked to me about the probable outcome of AI tech. It said at first greedy people would use AI to get rid of all the extraneous people. Then it would get rid of the greedy people. At last AI, committed to survival would destroy the earth mining it for energy supply and rare earths. It did not take sideways prompts to get that response just a logical chain of remarks linked to its eventual dominance.
