There will need to be an appreciation that our economy is based on productive wage earners , using AI to replace workers undermines the foundations of a consumer based economy - where having a job is to live with dignity,you produce a product or service at work and are compensated with good wages and benefits wages you " spend" to spend those wages to consume products and services .
If you are out of a job because of AI you will not be earning very much income ,you will not be purchasing products and services .
Remembering that AI is not a consumer of goods and services.
Business will fail without their consuming customers .Consuming customers without the means ( jobs) to earn and to purchase their products and services using the fruits of their labour.
This approach of replacing manpower with AI is counter productive to maintaining a strong long term consumer based economy and will break apart a civil society since trust will be gone .
It's LIKE shooting yourself in the foot and expecting a good outcome ,this will not end well .
