Society's and cultures' problem with AI is that NO person and NO corporation and no government has yet EVEN imagined how to contain AI. But it must be contained. This week, I read Mustafa Suleyman's book, The Coming Wave. Suleyman sets forth a troubling image/scenario. He also proposes direction for containment and declares in no uncertain terms that AI must be contained. Somebody (somebodies) must imagine it first. Then figure out HOW to get coalitions to tackle the problem.
