The only way he could make something out of this (tell me if it sounds crazy or wrong) is if he used midjourney to generate his images AND THEN tried to get inspired by it or recreate in a certain way what he sees or likes in those generated AI images in his own style after hours, months or years of practice and dedication with other tools like pencils, brushes, paints and/or photographs taken by himself. And after all that he could call himself artist and try to sell his art.
