To properly understand the true limitation of AI vs. human intelligence you have to appreciate the difference between processing in binary code (computers) vs. neuron based processing of human intelligence. Comparisons to people the presenter makes frequently regarding individuals with limitations speaks more to the spectrum of intelligence of humans rather than a valid computer vs. human comparison. Everything a computer can do must be expressed in some form of mathematical algorithm. It is exceptionally good at processing immense amounts of data that humans simply cannot do without suffering from fatigue. The vast array of analysis and predictive word selection in large language models is still only what fits within a mathematical algorithm. AI is a product of human concepts leading to programming techniques and human engineering of processing chips. We need to embrace this and use it to our advantage by letting computers sort through massive data amounts which will only improve the ability of humans to draw neuron based judgements, emotions, pain/pleasure, etc. at a higher level. AI is a good thing but making comparisons to human intelligence serves no real purpose.
