Sooner or later this will collapse on itself since yes corpos save money with ai, needing less human labor. But in return there will be more unemployed people with no buying power. That means lesser purchases to be made, which in turn means lesser amount of profit for the corpos. Ofc corpos will continue to lay off like crazy and get even more efficient. But it also means the problem mentioned above in turn will get also more severe. Right now its a spiral, a spiral facing downwards. Sooner or later the spiral will hit the ground and crash.
