I just don't get what the point is from either side. No artist is born with talent. They have to work on stuff for a long time. At the same time, AI is a tool. Like it or not, it's going to continue to exist. AI has a ton of different applications and is generally meant to make life easier. Outright rejecting it because it's AI only serves to leave that power in the hands of mega-corporations which is also bad. I think that the Anti-AI crowd is kind of making their own lives worse by being so vehemently against anything involving AI and the pro-AI crowd is making things worse by making such shitty arguments. I hate being a centrist on any issue, but everyone I see talking about the topic has pretty bad takes.
