No shit. People in the know have seen this coming for over a decade. If Bernie wasn’t a politician I wouldn’t even commend him for bringing it up. Any and all data analysis jobs will soon be gone, transportation industry will be mostly automated within the decade, education field will be delineated to AI, any menial labor like factory/warehouse work is gone the moment it’s more profitable/feasible to automate. Even worse that once AGI is achieved it’s just a matter of robotics catching up until any conceivable form of labor will be better done without humans. We are either witnessing the end times or the future paradise on Earth depending on how government and tech companies choose to grapple with AI in the next 5-20 years.
