All these AI are just using the already existing data as a basis for each article. As such It just imitates itself in the end it can't evolve if it can't create something new. I understand when it comes fairly repeatable articles with organised bullet points but you still need someone to have experienced the event. When articles just use quotes and nothing really engaging I just don't bother reading. In video AI is now frequently used to streamline VFX. It's not perfect by any means and you can tell when something is off, but you still need the expert to adjust the settings and sometimes perfectly re-mask. People don't want AI videos of their kids winning sports games of fiction, they don't want to spend their money on movies that look off or lack creativity. It's the same with articles and movie scripts. There are more ok movies than there are great movies, so a generative AI is going to write an ok movie that someone with no skill is going to think is fantastic until it is actually put to screen, where the actors may not look real and the background is randomly changing and dissolve transitioning every frame. It's a sad reality as at this past year and continuing, some YouTube channels are using "generative" AI to make children's content exposing them to such crap so early in life with no care. only profits. Also its hilarious to me that YT has started to put Video Summaries at the bottom of essay videos. just brain rotting and destroying viewer retention ratings in the process. fucking brilliant....
